Diet - Raw vs. Cooked.
It has been said that in order to be alive one must eat "live foods". Live foods contain valuable life giving enzymes that are destroyed in cooking. These foods include fresh raw vegetables and fruits as well as raw seeds and nuts. The greater the percentage of your diet is composed of these foods, the healthier you will be. A plant based rather than animal based diet is naturally high in fiber and low in fat, which are two essentials in the fight against cancer.
Diet - Acid vs. Alkaline
A good natural cancer fighting strategy is to starve cancer cells by not supplying them with food they need to replicate. Cancer cells flourish in an acid environment. The consumption of meat produces acid so it is best to avoid this source of protein. A diet that is comprised mostly of fresh raw vegetables, whole grains, seed and nuts, and some fruit will put the body in an alkaline environment. Add flaxseeds to the diet.

Foods to Avoid
Avoid white sugar. Cancer cells require much more glucose than normal cells, so the elimination of refined sugar is strongly recommended. Avoid MSG and as many food additives as possible. The more natural the diet, the better. Another harmful food is trans fats. The consumption of trans fats hinders the adequate oxygenation of cells, thus causing cancerous cells to increase.
